CS3 Air brushing.

To understand how to do it properly. I need a guide of some sort. :(

air brushing is a huge subject............ what are you trying to do.

1. Global Colour Adjustments

2. Flow vs Opacity

3. Safe Cloning – Don’t Kill Pixels!!

4. Dodge and Burn with Curves

5. Dodge and Burn with Black and White on Grey

6. Dodge and Burn with Colour on Grey

You start with 1, then do 3 (2 just explains why a particular setting is used)

Then choose one method from 4,5 or 6 to address tonal variation.

I wrote the posts above, and recorded the supporting videos. Where possible I've referenced any books used.

The retouchers that I've learnt the techniques from.

1. Gry Garness
2. Amy Dresser & Carrie Beene
3. Carrie Beene
4. Carrie Beene
5. Can't remember :(
6. Chris Tarantino

Make sure you have digested what Jason has provided by tea time.

Another thing. When editing images a tablet (even a small one) is a huge help rather than using the mouse.

Jasons videos/tutorials are very good.

Been learning all about masks with the one he put up the other day on how to put a different background on a subject.

Must look at these soon.
