So I have just got my new camera bag! Ended up going for the cupcake 3000, as currently only have a D3100 with the kit lens and a couple of filters for it. It is waterproof and very well padded. Here are some pics:

This shows the optional attachment points for cupcake pouch's to give you alittle more room

As this shot shows there is ample room for the camera with 18-55 lens and an extra lens and with all the pockets there is also room for a few filters and batterys/SD cards!

Will post again when I have been out and about!

I'm thinking about getting one of these, potentially the next size up. Popping to look at some in the shops tomorrow, but would be interested to hear how you've got on with it.

Hi all,

I've had two Crumpler cupcakes, the 3000 and now the 5500.

The cupcake bags are really quite brilliant. In my 5500 I can fit my d300s with a telephoto lens, my 35mm and SB-700.

As the OP said with the front Velcro pocket and the mesh pocket at the top there is loads of room for accessories etc.

Only two problems I found with mine is if you put loads of stuff in the top mess pocket (which I'm guilty of) it may not close properly. Also depending on what strap you use, anything bigger then the standard OEM strap such as the black rapid may struggle to fit.
