Crotal Bells 52 in 26. Week 10 Inspired by a song

Two nice takes Keith :)

That is one sad, little rusty watch Keith. Good images.

Both good for the theme, although I probably would have put the rusty watch on a contrasting background.

Rust & Decay - Lots of rust there.
Did you consider the direction of light? I feel there may have been some really interesting things you could do with shadows and hard light for this. It would be interesting to have a play with different angles and sources.

Windows & Doors - It does what it says on the tin, and I can see you've made a conscious decision on the symmetry.
I feel you could improve this a little by straightening the lines of the walls at the edges.

Thanks Tim
I tried a few angles on the old watch and liked this the most but I think still think there's more could be done with it as you suggest, it's a lovely little subject for the camera and I may have another go at it in the future.
TBH I'm not experienced at straightening certain parts of images, but yes it would help some of my photos.

I too like the crow in the rainy shot. And I like the framing of your looking through image.

Looking through is a good shot

Great catch-up set Keith, I particularly like the crow shot.

3 good images there Keith. I particularly like broken and looking through.

Nicely framed looking through there Keith. matches the tree well.

I like the framing of looking through - I wonder if a high-contrast B&W conversion would have worked well?

Yes I think B&W would look good, they usually do on cemetery pics.
Something along these lines.
I think I prefer the colour though, lots of different tones on the stones and a bit more feeling in the picture, but the B&W certainly works.

Two nice shots there Keith, love how the colour scheme on the coin shot ties in nicely with the tarnished coin.
