Thanks Adam. I was going to look for a subject after I finished work, but spotted the opportunity while at one of our sites. It's got them all. Good spot
I'll have a flake in mineAh yes, all the required elements, plus a cone!
I thought so too, very pleasing to get the same feel from a photographer like you Tim.The B&W processing gives it an ominous, brooding feel.![]()
For a moment I thought it was railway lines, my bad. Nice shot

Thanks Bill, I found it while metal detecting. Well, ..found what's left of it to be more preciseThat is one sad, little rusty watch Keith. Good images.
Cheers Dominic. Both good for the theme, although I probably would have put the rusty watch on a contrasting background.
Thanks TimRust & Decay - Lots of rust there.
Did you consider the direction of light? I feel there may have been some really interesting things you could do with shadows and hard light for this. It would be interesting to have a play with different angles and sources.
Windows & Doors - It does what it says on the tin, and I can see you've made a conscious decision on the symmetry.
I feel you could improve this a little by straightening the lines of the walls at the edges.
That's the beauty of the 52, it's a bit of a sandbox in which to try new things and get feedback / assistanceTBH I'm not experienced at straightening certain parts of images, but yes it would help some of my photos.
Thanks Simon, I think I startled the Crow when I dropped the car window and it worked out pretty well.A set that ticks all the boxes Keith. I like the rain shot especially.
Yes, the rain shot works particularly well.
I too like the crow in the rainy shot. And I like the framing of your looking through image.

Thanks WayneNicely framed looking through there Keith. matches the tree well.
Yes I think B&W would look good, they usually do on cemetery pics.I like the framing of looking through - I wonder if a high-contrast B&W conversion would have worked well?

Yep, they both work well Keith.
Thank you bothThat swan is quite majestic
