cropping

just a quick question if on a pic there is a small part I like and crop it how do I bring the small crop up to size with out lossing to much detail,
using cs2

In Photoshop, open the image click on the crop tool, now on the tool bar(top of work area) type in the size you want the image cropped to, a number value plus the unit you want to use, inches, mm etc(IE 9in by 6in) and the resolution( 140 >300ppi) then crop.
Remember you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear that is to say if you crop the image too small there won’t be enough information to work with and Photoshop will add pixels (interpolerate) and that is not good if over done. Hope this helps.
