This meal,which we had this evening, was so good I thought I'd post it. It 's very easy to make,my wife tells me... and if you like sweet & sour pork/rice you'll like this, too. My wife didn't add the honey in the sauce recipe as she thought it would make it too sweet and I think she was right. There are eight chicken pieces left which I'll have tomorrow as a snack with Blue Dragon sweet chilli sauce. The one with the purple label.

I have to say spicy chicken and rice is a close fave of mine in general.
I think it is my go to when i just want decent food with a kick
i love using a black bean sauce in the place of yours for the chicken.

Yes. We have that too. Also,a favourite of mine. Made with turmeric sauce...home-made, of course. I think it's the same. She calls it "spiced chicken'
