Creating Passport sized photos in Elements 10

Hi, I have been asked to take pics of a friend who needs then to send with her application for Drama School. She needs A4 and passpost size (PP). I have created the A4 and e-mailed to her and they print correctly. I have created the PP size ones by sizing at 35mm X 45mm and creating and sending her a JPEG. She tells me the PP siz is printing as A4 on her printer. I can't change her printer etc so I am wondering am I creating the image correctly and it is just a problem with her print settings, she isn't very hot on I.T. stuff so I can't ask her many techie questions. All I want to know is that I am creating the correctly sized JPEG, and she needs to get someone to look at her printer settings. Any comments or suggestions please. Thanks, Tony.

I took PP sized pictures for my wifes driving licence application.

They were a nightmare to get printed at the right size as the printer never seems to quite print what you thought it would when the images need to be an exact size.

I just had to keep fiddling until I got what I wanted.

One idea might be to transfer them to a PDF and test how it prints out before sending it??

If her printer is set to print at full page as opposed to actual size, they will print A4 regardless of what format you do them in.
