Creating a signature action with the type tool in photoshop CS3

Just wondering if it's possible to create a signature with the type tool in photoshop, and save it as an action so you can just put it on your photos by typing one key, if so, how would it be done, bearing in mind i've never used actions before, many thanks in advance.

You can't use the type tool in an action (sadly) there are other ways one is to make a brush of your logo and one click on the corner of each of your pics and your done, but again you can't action that either.
The best way is to create a path of your text, that you can embed in an action, then in the action simply convert the path to a selection and fill with the colour of your choice.

It will resize, add borders and whatever text you want

I hope this helps, but you can make a signature in photoshop.

I've uploaded an action for you, all you need to do is open out the action, double click the make layer text and change it to your name/style and re-save the action.

Bear in mnd though that I'm no photoshop expert so forgive me if I miss some vital info!
