Hi Mark, out of the 2 versions I like the 2nd one much more, the darker bg sets the bolt of nicely. I like the dof, it looks just right. I keep wondering if it would be better to have the whole nut in view?

#2 for me as the dark BG contrasts with the nut. I, too, would prefer the whole nut in focus.

It is on theme.....just

Sleek - Much prefer your second shot you can certainly see the sleek lines much clearer

Colour - Excellent, great colour, detail and lighting, really like they way you have placed these too

Fantasy - Hahaaaa love your interpretation nice wide angle

Fit - That fits the theme well mate, liking the second shot the best with the darker background !!!
