Coventry City FC looking for Photographer

Wonder why the one/ones that had left?
Maybe the commute to Northampton for home games or maybe if they can't find the money to pay the rent they haven't pai.......ok, i'll stop before Libel comes into it ;)

     Well they ain't going to have a lot of fans there to want to capture photos, and any photographer mad enough to do it will I doubt see any money out of it :(

I know what you're saying as in they don't have many fans.

Not everyone wants money and if they get paid for some then they will be even happier. This might be a good job for a fan who is at college studying photography and who wants to go in to sports photography.

Off topic but...

Quote from Tony's byline

If I want LIKES then I will go to facebook.. Please don't click LIKE on my posts..

Can we have a button just to say we like you :puke:

It's more to do with the owners of the club being about as popular as a floater in the shallow end  among the fans :suspect: it's not the most professional advert I've ever seen either :)

Ah I see.

Went to watch the O's play Coventry at Northampton couple of weeks ago (only game we have lost this season against a very good City team on the night)

On my way out I saw a professional type photographer pitchside with what looked like a 400 2.8, wonder where he went?

Horrible atmosphere with two stands shut and they should also think about getting some ball boys to retrieve the ball when it goes up into the unused stands

I would take a guess that club photographers (for most clubs) don't always get paid that royally.. so a drive from Coventry to Northampton isn't maybe feasible with those fees.
And as said in this thread, people haven't seen many photographers at the games.. and Coventry aren't playing too badly. So might well be worth someones time to go there and take photos for the club (and make the occasional sale to local papers or nationals).

probably dont want to do it on spec as the risk is increased because they have to pay even more to get there..... Like all the rest of the full timers have to .. ! oops sour grapes ....Yep

I support this club, for my sins. If only I wasn't an amateur and a sports photographer also didn't have raynaud's disease then I'd so go for this.

Paul - Tony sees LIKES the same as

"We have no budget for your photographs but we can credit you"..
