Got a couple of packs of treats, for after a meal. Just looking at the info on the bar, and they are a whopping 400 Calories. They are only two small bites if that. I could so easily eat three of them, even after a meal. But I am limiting myself to one, at the week end.

Also, before any smart ar**s Alecks say " you should have looked at the calorie count, before you bought it". Yes I know I should have looked first.

Just lately I have been looking at the calorie count in food, and it is amazing just how many calories are in food, and even in supposedly healthy food.

We were shocked at how many calories there are in Naan bread

I love millionaire slices but haven't had one since I saw the saturated fat content of a small square on a pack of Lidl ones. The calories aren't so much of a problem - it's relatively easy to adjust the rest of the day's intake to allow the treat but the saturated fat in one slice/square is well over 100% of the recommended daily allowance.

Just eat more dinner and pass on the dessert calories? Nah, sod it, do both.

I don't think they're 400 calories. 400 per 100g maybe.

Bizarrely though, they're different... Tesco slice is 27.1g. Asda 23.9g.
They are different because they are not the same :)
The Asda ones are Snack size, so you can eat more of them and not feel guilty.
