This has popped up on my radar thanks to other posts on here.

I'm after user experience of it please.

I like the concept.

Those that have it - how have you got on?

What about use in hot weather?

Thanks.

Let you know later when Amazon decide to deliver it current update is tween 6.30 to 8.30:

Oh FFS parcel just arrived and it’s not a cotton carrier , but a Chinese knock off sending it back .. Amazon is getting very tricky in there advertising wording as it looked like the real deal .. but I’m not trusting 6K worth of gear on an obscure make . Hate the way when you do a search cleverly worded alternatives come up instead of what you searched for

.o.k it’s going back ,and a proper cotton carrier G3 ordered ..

Well the cotton carrier G3 just turned up , so first opinions. It’s extremely well made and with a infinite amount of adjustments ideal for a big bloke like me , I am so glad we sent the Chinese knock off one back as I don’t think it would have worked like this . Only tried it walking round the living room so far but got to agree it takes all the weight out of the camera . The only problem I can envisage so far is fitting the mount to the tripod foot tends to make the camera sit at a funny angle and also stops you fitting a arca plate if you need to use a tripod/ monopod will look at sorting that out in a bit .and as much as I don’t like the lens weight hanging off the camera I think it’s a must do for comfort. ,plus there a security belt to hold the lens steady if needed . Don’t want to make it over complicated but it needs to feel secure as well . .

Yep now done using the camera baseplate to fit lock knob the whole assembly fits better the tripod mount is now atop the lens which is where I normally have it with the arca plate refitted ( little tip ,most camera shops or e.bay sell reducer inserts to make the front screw hole smaller so you can then secure your arca plate by two screws preventing twist ) the security strap is now fixed to the arca plate . . It feels more comfortable overall but will update further once used in anger
