My 93 year old mum went off to Corsica for a few days with a friend, but has managed to get Listeriosis (food infection thing) so is in hospital there, her friend has to get back to work, so I'm off there tomorrow for anything up to a month.
I usually like to prepare and plan a little, but have no time at all. I believe I'll be staying in Bastia.
I have 3 words of French, like to choose food from a menu without a clue as to what it is but have not travelled alone for 35 years so this may be very good for me but if anyone has been, got any suggestions, advice or anything I'd be very grateful.
I don't intend to spend all day in hospital although obviously will be there a couple of time each day..
