Corrupt JPEG files

Has anyone found some good software for un-corrupting JPEG files?

I was transferring the images through a 3rd party memory card ready, and like an idiot (as i was in a rush) i chose cut instead of copy, so the images have transferred from the memory card permanently Some of the pics are ok, but most including the movies are all un-readable, though they are still there have a "size" ie 1.6Mb etc.

Any ideas?

Camera was a Fuji Finepix Z
Card was 2Gb SD 150x Transcend

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might try some recovery software on the memory card; IIRC deleting or cutting files only earmarks them to be overwritten, rather than actually removing them completely as would happen if the card was formatted.

Try Recuva, free download which will recover deleted files from cards, as well as your computer.
