Correct memory for my camera ?

Hi could someone confirm that I have the right memory for my camera please before I go open the packaging.
My camera is the Fujifilm S5000 and the only XD memory card I could find was the Olympus 1Gb type M with panaramic function.
It has taken 4 weeks to arrive due to the postal strike and I have forgotten what I read about the card at the time. I seem to remember it will work ok in the finepix but obviously the panaramic function won't ?

But then i find this

Type H XD cards may cause interruption of movie recording at 640 x 480 pixel mode and take longer to write to the card with this camera model.

I'm not helping much am i, sorry.

Possibly stupid question, but are you sure it's the 'Fujifilm' S5000 as that camera is 3 years old?

yes its all I could afford its a recent second hand buy off ebay.
Mmm after 3 weeks wait looks like I should send it back ...:shrug: darn
