Cork/Kinsale

Hi to our Irish neighbours!!

Will be over in the Cork area middle of May on a stag week!! Need to get some info on some ''real irish pubs'' with the irish music and plenty of Guiness. We are staying at the Lee Valley Golf and Country Club in Cork. Have heard that there is a few nice places out there???
Any help/advice would be much appreciated

There's quite a high concentration of pubs in Cork, not exactly a BIG city. Went there a few times for work and found plenty but cant remember the names.

kinsale is class! Went a few years ago on a stag, but the hotel wouldn't accept 'stag do's' so we were a 'golf society' instead. The place looks like Ballamory (sp.)... but once the evening kicks in it's full on music, food and laughter!! With an all singing, all dancing night club bang in the middle. The bars have live music, the locals are very friendly and the whole town/village is buzzing! You'll have a blast!
