Have a query, hopefully this has not been asked too many times before :)

I have just upgraded my PC to windows 7 (64bit) and Photoshop 7 does not work with this.

So am looking for a cheap alternative, the 2 i have identified are

COREL Paintshop Photo Pro x3 and SERIF Photoplus x4 both can be purchased for less than £50 with the serif software being less than £35

If possible i would like the software to support Canon RAW.

So given the choice which would you go for and why?

Thanks
Matt

I haven't used Photoplus but I have used Paintshop pro, now although I'm not a fan of PSP having started on the early versions of photoshop, my vote would still go to paintshop, it's a very comprehensive package and theres probably little you couldn't do with it.
The latest version is supposed to be the dogs whatsits, with tons of features and raw processing.
I would suggest you download the trial versions of both and play with then, one will probably then take your fancy.

Thanks for your reply :)

I have bought the Paintshop Photo Pro x3, just need to spend time learning it :)
