Parts of our garden are very steep so reaching to the top of a wide shrub is difficult so I thought about one of these -

Does anyone have any experience of the above one, or any other cordless trimmer?

Are they powerful enough to do the job or are the claims excessive?

Thanks

Dave

For £100 less I’d get the Bosch or Ryobi.

Replacement batteries are cheap for the above and if the g tech batteries are anywhere near the stupid price they wanted for a cordless vacuum battery I’d steer well clear.

I have a similar thing but a corded one.
The drive motor is at the cutting end of the pole which makes the thing very unbalanced ,I suspect this is very similar if so it is not the easiest thing to handle in addition my cordless hedge trimmer is a lot less powerful than my 240 volt mains powered one.
If you can justify it get a petrol one, Hyundai do one for around 150 quid

The last GTech stuff we bought was made in China! (Unlike the previous models that we had which were great.) Enough said. The difference soon became apparent!

Thanks all.
