copying a mask in cs3

Is there a way to copy or apply a mask to all (or a selection of) layers of 1 image in cs3?

Found the answer!

Hold the Alt and Control keys at the same time and drag the layer mask from one layer and drop it onto another. If there is already a layer mask on that second layer you'll be prompted to replace it, answer Yes to the prompt.

you can also group layers in CS3: at the bottom of the layer box make a group and then drag the layers you want into it. You can then apply masks to the group: i think...
