Hi guys.
Have a coolpix P7100 that basically goes everywhere with me, which I brought brand new last June. Noticed today that there are a couple of bits of dust on the inside of the lens, one which is more than just a tiny spec, although looks to be too close to the edge of the lens to ever come into shot, this morning I rang the photography shop that I brought it from, an independent, telling them that it needs to go back to nikon under warranty to have this rectified, to my surprise he suggested that if it was not interfering with the pictures that it may not be done under warranty! My answer to this was that the camera is not a year old and just because the dust does not show on images that it does not make it right, and should want to sell the camera that it may put people off, and anyway once you notice something like that it just bugs the he'll out of you anyway!
What are your thoughts on this?
Jon
