A little video showing start to finish a photoshoot to print.

Starts off with the model, au naturel, then goes through the make up the shooting, the photoshopping, to the final image.

Quite a difference when you see it like this. It's a cool video!

Thanks for sharing. Has to be said, I preferred the look before they did all the liquid editing in PS...

Great link Marcel, thanks for sharing.
Now if I can just slow the vid down to see how they did those clever photoshop things ... ;)

Lol I thought exactly the same thing

lol she scrubbed up well didnt she

/runs away clutching his sexist comment

Tried to take some screenshots to see how it was done, but for some reason print screen isnt copying stuff onto my clipboard (HANDY!)

But I have watched it over and over and I think all they do it lasso roughly around the head, copy n paste it onto new layer and then raise it up slightly (for the neck this is!)

The rest of it is too quick to see - though it does just seem to be elliptical marquee tool being used.....

if you watch it on youtube and click the button on the bottom right it will go full screen and you can see a bit more, not much - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uT4dpFpiTgk

P.S - does anyone recognise that software?

Ive just realised it *may* just be some duff mockup software, so they don't have to pay Adobe or anyone royalties. Which means that the methods they used were just for the video only (ie making them simpler than they actually are).

That thought had crossed my mind - but thats a fair bit of trouble to go to. But then again probably less trouble than getting clearance from Adobe :p

Wow - isn't it amazing what a bit of makeup and photoshop can do

Wow, amazing. What can't be done with a bit of Photoshop.

Magazines post screencaps of photoshops all the time. I doubt they have gone to Adobe and paid a lot to get clearance. Online tutorials and videos do as well.

Astounding. That means I can look like George Clooney with just a few tweaks...
(multiply by 0 and add the correct image I mean).

... stunned.

Like others I do wish that the PS2 bit was somewhat slower.

Excellent - thanks for sharing Marcel. Anyone got any ideas how the neck was lengthened as I'd like to try that.

Select the neck with the freehand mask tool, copy it (to memory) and paste back into the image as a new layer (not a new selection). Using the layer deformation tool, drag the neck out to the required new length. Obviously, before you line the new neck up with the body, you'll have to either raise the head, or lower the body (to accomodate the new length) using the same technique - cut and paste. Once you've flattened the image you may have some touching in work to do on the background unless it's a very plain monotone background.

So what this is saying then is my perfect poster woman could be a Photoshop!! Gutted! :)

Great film...

Nobody actually pays for their copies of Photoshop anymore do they?

Excellent - don't trust a thing - everyone looks the same in the dark!

I get told off for removing the odd blemish on a girl's face - that is everyone except the subject!

I saw that the other week actually but that is amazing. She looks really hot at the end.

Makes you feel a lot better knowing they only look that good with some makeup and a lot of photoshop :) very clever though.
