Hi ,been working up to posting pictures for a while now, just getting back in to photography after 30 odd years, looking forward (I think) to trying different themes and improving and also getting feedback and advice.
Had a few ideas but after a quick walk around the farm today I came up with this

Like the 1st & 2nd. You found some great subject matter there, reckon a tighter crop (filling the frame with the pattern) would look even better ;)
 
Don't know what happened there - settings had changed on flickr for some reason

Thanks for that .Iwasn't sure about the composition of the 1st but was really tight up against a hedge. Didn't enter my head to crop it

Shaun, plenty of curves there. I prefer the 3rd one, the curves waving through the frame and filling it, but they are all good and bang on theme.
 
Your crop on #1 is really good. Really tightens it up nicely :thumbs:
 
No.3 (revised version) is my fav. I love the texture, the angle and the subtle colours of the tiles. I think I would have cropped it even more to get rid of the grass on the bottom right.

Love the 1st shot of all of them - nicley seen, well framed and nice dof :)

And loads of curves :)!
 
Posting 6 shots for week 1 doesn't mean you can sit back and do nothing for the next 5 weeks! ;)
