Converting JPEG to TIFF

Morning all,

Just a quick one, how do you convert a JPEG to a TIFF file? I have Corel Photo X2 but cant seem to find any settings for it to save down in to TIFF. Any help would be appreciated. Its a pain as its probably very simple!

Also how can I make an image low res ie 72 dpi and know ive done it correctly?

Im quite new to image manipulation so please do forgive me!

I have Corel XI and it is included in the list of formats when I 'Save as'
 
72dpi (or more correctly ppi) is only used for printing.
It will set the number of pixels printed for each inch of your print.
If you are displaying on a screen then the ppi is set by the resolution of the monitor.
If you are not printing then do not worry about it.
