Convert to ACHI

Hi guys,

If I convert my hard drives to ACHI, will all the files be deleted?

I have backups but, don't want to got through the hassle of reinstating everything.

no, its just a setting in the bios.

make sure your drives support it though as you wont be able to boot (so then go back and switch them back). optical drives are normally quite picky.
