Wish I'd kept my T planar zeiss lens now. Shucks...

The ML lenses were a cheaper option to the Zeiss versions, very good in their own right but just not Zeiss. They also made a DSB version in Contax/Yashica fit which were the budget end of the line and not as good as the ML. I had a couple of ML lenses for an old Yash FR2 (?) and they were very good indeed, the 50mm was pin sharp.

Yep agree with that and just would add:- the digital guys like ML lenses which unfortunately puts the price up for us.

They are a bit more expensive than some other similar lenses but still a very good price for a very good lens.
