Contacting Sky for support

I've been getting an error message since last night "Please ensure your viewing card is inserted with the chip facing up". I've rebooting the box, cleaned the card & put it back, but to no avail.

Trying to find a number to call them is like looking for a needle in multiple haystacks. Anyone know the telephone number for Sky TV (Sky+, not Sky Q).

I did see that one but it wasn't actually on a Sky site, so wasn't sure if it was a scam or not. It's bloody infuriating though...
 
They don't want their customers calling them because they only ever get complaints and cancellations. ;)

I gave up with them a few years ago and the only way I could get their attention was to cancel my direct debit. That brought them running fast enough.
 
The MySky app has a support number of 03337591271 listed for those not wanting to use the online support functions it offers.
If you’re registered as a Sky VIP then the app will also give you priority numbers you can use.

That's interesting, I don't have the app, but being a customer of 21 years, maybe I should, although any of the "VIP" offers I've received have not been of any interest.
 
The 0333 numbers are a pain, it will take you around 5 minutes to even get in a queue to speak to a human and be prepared to wait another 10after that.

Well they've messed up my contract, overcharging me after I renewed, so I trid calling them again yesterday, and 3 times I was holding for more than 30 minutes. When they know it's a contract thing, they make you wait, and sales go through quicker, I know, I've experienced it.

I've just got through. All sorts of apologies, and they're issuing a refund.

I can now go and destress.....
