Contact sheets in Picasa?

Evening,

Asking on behalf of a colleague, who has no intention of splashing out on PS Elements, etc. at the moment... she wants to know if it's possible to create a contact sheet using Picasa, or, if not, is there any other freeware that will help with this? Coz I use PS, I'm not too familiar with what the freebies can do. Also, she's using a Pentax DSLR, so no DDP for her!

My wife uses Picasa3, there is a collage option and in that a drop down list which includes contact sheet. It's a bit crude but does work.
It seems to fit all the photos you choose on to an A4 sheet and resizes them to fit the sheet. If you have 2 photos they will be large, if you have 80 photos it reduces them to still fit them all on the A4 sheet and they are v. small.
If you wanted say 80 photos in total you would need to select how many you wanted on a sheet do a contact sheet and then select another lot do a new sheet etc.

Ah, OK; well I'm sure that little quirk can be worked around; I'm guessing my friend will think that it certainly beats paying £40 upwards for the Adobe version! Thanks.
