So who has followed this from the 101 through?
Did you get something from it?

A friend and I are both considering it, between us we have 3 small flashes and 1 big studio strobe, off camera cords (5m) and a bunch of other bits (stands, brolleys etc).

Be interested on what other peoples thoughts are on it.

Thanks
Sam

I've read it a few times, but never actually done it. Brilliant read and I can only expect you'll learn a lot doing it in reality.

Just do it. Wonderful introduction.

Done a little bit before, but still feeling like I am missing some of the fundamentals (balancing the light, positioning etc) so gonna do this. Got a few friends that are keen to help out by being our models, all they want in return are some nice pics (digitally). :)

definitely give it a go. i learnt so much about creative lighting and manual flash control. strobist is very good too!

Read a little bit of it (on they sly in work, waiting for big query to finish running) and its very readable and seems well presented. :)

Will hopefully make a start on it this weekend and will update this thread as we go through it, might be of benefit for someone else and you can all pitch in and comment on the pics/suggest things to try etc.

Excited about this now!
