hi there

i got it - my 450d arrived today

been taking few shots on orniments cars cats etc

not taken it off auto yet but i know how to take photos with out the flash on.

but loving it atm and having fun playing
 
any tips

my next thing is i want a lens for pics of motor sport

from reading something like a 70-200 would be a good one
 
get the sigma 70-300mm

if you into motorsport its a decent lens with enough zoom.
best of all its dirt cheap can pick up online for around 80-100 quid.

I've taken some nice shots with that lens, and convinced two mates to buy the same on a budget.
 
I just got a Tamron 70-300mm di lens for my 400d and it seems a nice lens at £110!
 
Bought mine just before Xmas ,seems a nice bit of kit ,works great with the siggy 10-20 .Congrats on your new kit:thumbs:
 
yeah just takein random shots atm

but loving it

parked up with a mate took a few shots but wanna play with settings soon and take off auto
 
Another vote for a 70-200 L non IS!
