Confused

Hi all good techy people.
Just need some help with this, I've had a pc built but decided to get the DDR3 ram myself as I could get it much cheaper, but, now I have found I'm confused and don't seem to be able to find any info, the memory is DDR3 U1600, U being "unbuffered" but what I can't find is, is My new PC able to take Unbuffered ram or buffered ram... Help please.
Mobo is asrock fm2A88x+killer.

Unbuffered is what you want.

If it helps here is the list of officially supported memory for that motherboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty FM2A88X+ Killer/?cat=Memory That's not to be interpreted as all the memory modules that are compatible but as a guide based on what ASRock have officially tested with it.
