Hi all,
This is something I haven't really done before and now I am in a position to have some images printed I'm a bit unsure.
My camera is the 5D MKIII and I understand what the native size at 300dpi will produce. But when it comes to wanting a larger print, say a 30"x20" or bigger, I'm just not getting how I can upsize and retain the quality etc. Reducing the dpi is one answer but I read on places like TP that people get quite large prints with quality results.
I'm using LR4 and CS5.1 and wondered if its just as straight forward as using the crop tool in PS, entering the size of print and dpi then just cropping. Does PS do a good enough job of the rest?
I'm interested in aluminium prints, acrylic prints and canvases etc.
Apologies for the possibly dumb questions but this is one area I'm relatively new too.
Much appreciated.
Mark
