Ive just acquired CS2 but i havnt got a clue where to start:thinking:, can anyone please point me to an easy (simple) tutorial to doing layers:eek:
 
Ive just had a quick look and im thinking these are too advanced for me i want to learn how to work with layers first:'(
 
I'd recommend a subscription to Digital Photo magazine. It comes with a cover CD that is full of Photoshop tutorials covering everything from the basics through to some quite advanced techniques :)

Ive bought them both the Dummies one and the Scott Kelby one, i wish i hadnt got the one for Dummies now i think its a bit Tame and its going back to Amazon:)

I agree with Rendel, i was given a subscription as a gift and its given me a good basic knowledge of the functions and abilities of photoshop, as well as plenty of other tips and reviews on gear. Liked it so much i took out another sub, and there is a nice sweetener of a gift if when you subscribe.
