Complete courses for beginner - north eat reccommendations pls

Hello,

I've been searching for a course based in the north east that covers photography for a complete beginner.

I've been granted local funding (up to £1000) for a course (or combination of courses within one company up to that amount) but I can't seem to find a decent local provider where I would get 'my money's worth' so to speak.

I'd really like to learn the basics and then cover portraits, wedding and street photography so I can get a feel for what area I'd like to go into.

If anyone can recommend somewhere or someone please let me know. I'm based in Darlington, County Durham but can travel to Sunderland, Durham, Newcastle etc.

I don't know if that's the sort of thing your after.

There are also night classes run by the colleges, I have seen them a few times usually at Paddys hole or the Infinity Bridge
