Compact Recommendation

Hi Guys

I've just had a lady at work ask me for a recommendation for a compact camera, i haven't a clue so thought one of you might be able to help.

She has about a £100 budget, but could go up a bit more if necessary.

Enough Megapixels that if she takes a photo and wants it blown up that it will look okay.

Nothing too complicated would be best (if you get my drift!) She's not fussy on make.

Any ideas?

I've always been a fan of the Samsung NV series. They're pretty, and function fairly well.

That said, I'm sure most will tell you to buy Canon based purely on IQ.

Is this lady more interested in aesthetics or image quality?

I'm a canon girl, but haven't a clue where compacts are concerned.

I think it's more image quality, she said she isn't a photographer by any means but wants one so that on the off chance she takes a nice photo it will look good printed.

Have a look at these. I've dealt with them on a few occasions know problems and come with full 12 month warranty.
