Hi folks, i have a question,I have 2 Canon 1d mk3 for sport shots, when you are using fast c/f cards do the sdhc back cards need to be as fast.Will it slow up the camera.

It will slow it up regardless compared to just shooting to one card.

I have a 10 SDHC, when I shoot RAW and jpeg at an event, then forget to change for motor sports, it definitely gets my attention!

if shooting to two slots it shoots at the speed of the slowest card... I recently found this out in another thread.. although now i think about it..and its been pointed out to me.. seems obvious

Just select to write smaller files to the backup card or get two super fast cards.
