I have a couple of larger bags for hauling around a larger selection of kit, but I'm after a smaller one for taking on holiday.

Preferably a fairly discreet shoulder bag, big enough to take my 450D or 40D (not at same time) with 15-85 lens and hood attached, plus pockets for spare batteries, cards and my Cokin P adaptor and a few P filters.

Any recommendations?
:)

Looks like that might do the job nicely. Just want to keep it neat and discreet for lugging around.

May even go for the 140, which should fit the 450D ok, but not sure about the 40D.

Crumpler Muffin top?

Pete, if you've got transport, it's worth visiting the Devon Camera Centre in Exeter to see a reasonable selection of bags in the flesh, or if you're willing to travel a bit further, try Mifsuds in Brixham (but be prepared to leave with more than you were expecting!) who oftem have a selection of 2nd hand bags.

Thanks Nod. I was hoping to get there sometime soon. Think I should leave the wallet at home and just take a limited amount of cash though!!:D

I would look at the crumpler muffin top 3000, plenty of space inside for my 500D with kit lens and room for another lens or a flash, there is also a pocket on the front for memory cards and batteries. Filters may be a little bit of a squeeze in the pocket and probably not protected enough really being on the front of the bag. but as a bag its great. I can even get the 500D with the 24-70mm 2.8L in there.

I've just bought today a Lowepro classified 160 AW and i'm very happy with it. Looks like a "man bag" shoulder bag thingy and its deep enough just to get my Nikon 300s with 70-200 2.8G fitted in and theres space for a couple of other lenses, cards.
