Colours in Folders Pane in LR

I use Win 10 and LR
The folders pane in LR is grey with the text being white.
When moving folders or moving photos, the destination folder gets to be a slightly lighter shade of grey, which I find hard to see. In the past I have made the mistake of putting photos in the wrong folder - easy enough to reverse but a bit irritating.
I notice on Morganti's tutorials that as he scrolls through the folders, they illuminate in blue. Is this because he works on an Apple machine and is there any option for something similar on a Win PC?

I am pretty sure that you can alter the colours in Preferences (I use an iMac, Windows might call Preferences something else)

You can add a coloured label to the folders by right-clicking on them. But as far as I am aware you cannot change the default colour of the folders.
