I want some colours, red, teal, blue ..

I've three different flashes, Leica SF-40, Leica SF-62 and Godox AD360 with a variety of modifiers Kacey 22inch beauty dish, umbrella octo softbox

If I could just take some colour cellophane sheets and cut out of my own? any suggestions?

If you dont need to use them for colour correction, you can put anything which transmits light to give a colour cast, provided it can cope with the heat generated by your light source - you dont want stuff melting or catching fire or overheating your light source.

There is also info about sourcing genuine gels on this recent thread

Just cut them to size for speedlights, studio heads or whatever. If you gel a softbox, you do it from inside of it, no need to cover all the front of it with a huge gel.
