Hi all,

I did a shoot in my little studio last night. The model is not actually a model, and it wasn't a paid shoot, just a learning shoot. :)

My question:

I have issues with making consistent colours, temperature, etc across a group of images. I should have set custom WB in the studio to help, but i didn't ().

So how would I get these two images looking consistent using CS5? make the first match the second, basically, as i am happy with the second. I just don't know the best tool to use, or if it is possible to do effectively. I am colour blind, which doesn't help...I can match colours to some extent, but would probably miss a colour cast or something if it wasn't so obvious.

Next time I WILL remember Custom WB!!

Are they RAW files or JPEGs? RAWs are easier to correct as they don't have any develop settings already applied to the file.

Raw. Trouble was, it's not until after processing that I see the new one is not the same. :(

If I go back and rework the original, I may not get it as good, even if I get the set to match. :)

If RAW then copy the colour temperature slider settings (temp and tint).

Using the jpgs I had a quick go with match colour which seemed to work ok some little bits need touching up I used refine edge to select the face which helped with the hairline.

The blacks didn’t match up too well so I used 2 sample points to see what the difference was then I used curves to adjust the individual colours till the 2 samples matched.

Thanks. The hair is different though, isn't it. Skin looks a lot better...thanks. I will try that method. :)
