Hi

Is there a mode I should be using I have 3 options on my D50 and have never given it any thought until I started shooting RAW.

Is one better than the other?

Which one should I use?

It will not effect raw images with any of the settings you use on the D50. What matters is the setting you use when you export/final save on the computer. So check what setting you have on the computer when editing. I use sRGB by the way:thumbs:

sRGB for me too. In theory more room for colours with Adobe RGB, but I'll give you a pound if you can actually tell the difference in 99% of photos.

sRGB is fine for most applications. It's near to most monitors and printers that you are likly to come across. However the camera is capable of recording colours in a much wider range than sRGB, In fact some reasonably prices printers can produce colours outside the SRGB gamut.

However this is all fairly mute as you are considering shooting RAW ( well done) , as the original colour information is retained within the RAW file. So provided you keep the original files if you need wider gamuts then it's normally a simple method to reprocess the original image and select a wider colour space
