Wasnt sure whether to put this in the printing thread as its a bit of a follow on from a post i made there.
Essentially ive calibrated my monitor using a Spyder 4 to a wide gamut profile for photo editing in the hope i get a little more from my prints when i print them out. The monitor can handle this fine (Dell U2413) Im hoping my printer can deal with it. Anyway, the issue i now have is when i play a game i get flickering colour switching going on. I think its down to the game fighting against the wider colour profile that the monitor/windows is now configured for. So ive gone into display properties (windows 7) and the colour management and tried setting the colour profile to a non wide setup that i had before, but on OK'ing the screen i dont see any change in display colour. Usually you see a little before and after type switch over.
So is there anything i can do to get my games running cleanly without the colour flicker? Im using a radeon R900 something or other video card if that helps any
