Hi
I am hoping someone can help. I have been using DS colour for all my priniting for a few years and this week, for the first time ever, I appear to have a problem. Some of my prints came back an awful colour. I use their pro service, apply their profiles and most of my images were fine....all the 6 x 4's and 9x6's were hit with the problem. I called them and they are trying to help but say there wer no assigned profiles to the images...ANY of them!. As I say, most are good, just these two sizes. Photoshop metadata says they have the right profile...windows properties say colour is uncalibrated. Any suggestions.....is it me or is the profile being stripped on upload somewhere....if so how do i fix it. Im desparate as I have a large order to upload and it could prove costly if it does it again.
Ta muchly in advance for reading my witterings x

I wouldn't rely on anything Windows/Properties says about 'color representation' (which I think means Color Space) - it never shows the correct profile on my machine and always says 'uncalibrated'.

If you check your image files with Kuso Exif Viewer and PhotoMe (instead of Windows/Properties) you'll probably find they both give the correct profile.

As for the large order, you could burn the image files onto CD-R or DVD-R and post the disc to DSCL. That way you know they've arrived with the profiles intact.

I had something similar 10 x 8's were fine but smaller ones were very muted. For some reason my client really liked them though so I did not get them replaced but did tell them about it when I returned a canvas with a flaw - which they replaced very promptly, now to find out if I get postage refunded!

Good to hear DSCL coming good on their error.

The prints were horrible greeny orange colour.... Only in the 6x4 & 9x 6. Having a few probs uploading today's order of 1500 prints so they have suggested I split the order and they will put it all together their end. Can't fault their customer service
