Colour / Brightness Change when moving an image in PS

I'm attempting to recreate this template

, which essentially starts with a blank new document, uses guides for the image location and then adds layers for text. However when I drag an image created in LR into the template using the move tool I lose saturation and brightness. Both the image and blank template are showing as RGB 16 Bit in the info panel in PS

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but I can't see where to go. Any suggestions please
 
Can I ask, have you done a test print from LR and then the same for the finished template printed from PS?

If so does the difference that you are seeing show in the prints?

I haven't but I'm assuming it's a WYSIWYG as the images look different in Photoshop side by side
 
I think I've resolved the issue - for some reason the profile mismatch warning was not set in PS. I added this and when I opened the template this time it warned it didn't have a profile set. I converted to working profile and now they look the same
