Does anyone know of a decent source for these without spending £80 quid or so on a Lastolite. I've seen them on Ebay from £25-45, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any retailers that stocked them?
 
I have a couple of the £40 ones from ebay, but to be honest whilst they do the job, they are not a patch on the Lastolites ones, but at the end of the day, they do a job. I have a cheap double sided white/black which I use a lot as both a background and also as a reflector and light absorber.

i also ordered some of a different make from B&H when the pound was a great deal stronger than it currently is and even with the import duty, vat etc they worked out about the same price as a lastolite one, but they were double sided and very good quality.

I realise the quality won't be there with the cheap ones, but have you had any issues with them that have affected the image quality?

Not really, I use them as backgrounds I dont shoot through them :lol:

No they are fine, just that the metal frame seems to have a little less quality, the material also seems a little less thick, the case also is not made with such good materials, but for casual or semi-pro use then they are a bargain. The main problem with the cheaper background are the lack of choice, although I would highly recommend the black/white version for its versatility both as a background or as a light modifier.
