Question

Is the P Series too small for the The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM ???

The 16-35mm is 82 mm has a 82mm filter size.



Would I get Vignetting @ 16 mm or Should I go for the Z Pro Series which is the next step up ???
 
I am not too sure about the P series, someone here will know the answer though im sure. However, If it turns out that they are not suitable, the step up in price for the Z Pro series almost warrents going that little extra and getting some Lee filters. Can't go wrong with them to be honest.

What camera is it on? A crop body or full frame? I suspect it would be ok, but I don't know for sure.
 
I'd have said on a crop body it should be fine, especially with the wide angle holder, instead of the older one.

I've heard reports of them being fine on a crop body with a 10-20.

What dimensions are the P Series filters ????
 
unless you have the grad in the middle, it will be too small. It was too small for me on a 17-85mm on 1.6 crop body. I sold the lot and got lee filters, more expensive but worth it.

85mm I think.

As youre using it full frame, I'd recommend going for the Z series. You may aswell, save any problems in the future. And the holder is also compatible with the Lee system too.

Using the 1D it would not be full frame but 1.3 crop
 
I think the P series is only good up to a 77mm thread.
