EVERY single day I thank Chris for his recommendation of the insoles I have in all my shoes to prevent plantar fasciitis.

EVERY single day I thank Chris for his recommendation of the insoles I have in all my shoes to prevent plantar fasciitis.
What were they?

I echo Wayne's question. I am using Scholl ones but they almost cause more pain than the original problem

Ditto, please share.

Moved to a new thread with respect to His Snakiness
I was completely mystified by the reference to insoles on the other thread, but I now understand!

Thankfully I have never been inflicted with plantar fasciitis, although I did hobble home once telling my husband I thought I had developed it, only to find a thorn in my foot :ROFLMAO:

I have insoles in most of my shoes and in wellies
Just for comfort though have had pain in foot arch before
Really good for wellies especially as I wear them for walking along the river early morning wellies aren’t the most comfortable things
I just have the Lidl brand ones they are very good
For walking around on hard tarmac paths all day for example at the zoo I wear a pair of cheapie dunlop work boots that have memory foam inserts and put insoles in as well , its like walking on air , I used to get sore feet , not anymore

The ones Chris recommended (and that work for me) are Edison Elite XII.

As the link shows, I get them through the big river but they're also available through the bay and elsewhere.

As always, Thanks, Chris!

Chris, one of the good guys with more patience than a saint, taken far too soon.

As for insoles, any insoles that support the arch of your foot will do the trick. I suffered terribly with plantar wotsit and in the end the fix was so simple.

I remember this thread! And sadly at the time then forgot about it, I could do with these! They're out of stock atm at least for my size but will book mark, and maybe find them else where, cheers for the reminder

Also a nice reminder of Cobra, even when I was being a complete d**k back in the day he gave me many chances and we spoke here and there on side, always was a gent.

I was going to post last week but then I saw that the thread had been moved but was unable to locate it. I see it's running again.

I had this plantar fasciitis condition in my right foot last February..for the first time. It was very painful . I don't have any joint issues, no aches, no pains, so why ? I used my private health care for physio as the waiting list on the NHS was too long . I got six sessions .

The condition started after we'd taken a long walk..3 1/2 hours from where we were staying to the next village along the seafront prom, the day after we arrived in Tenerife after a 4 1/2 hour flight .After we got home it became more painful. Probably because of working in the garden tidying up after three weeks away. The Physiotherapist put it down to the 4hr 30min flight (out there) and the next day taking that long walk . We just walked at a normal pace and I wore good trainers.. Pavers..really good support. I never wear sandals for walking. For the rest of the holiday we just took short walks and I was sort of ok.

Re physio, I had to roll my foot over a rubber spiked rubber ball, the size of a golf ball. Then had to lean against a wall, both hands on the wall and lift up on my toes. I stuck at it doing more than the three times a day excersise that I was told to do and after six weeks was ok and have never had it since. Anyway, just to be safe we don't go on such long walks ....anywhere.

I've noted the comments above, though. Cheers Pete. Next time we're in Lidl I'll get a pair of their insoles and take them on holiday, just in case.

All it takes is arched insoles, to support Plantar tissue in the foot arch. This eases the pain and allows to stressed ligament? to heal.
