Ok, don't laugh!!, I bought this little beastie , must be 20 years ago
to go with my retina IIc (still got it) but as I've blown my goodie budjet big time on a new lens. I was wondering "might it work with my 400d?"
It takes 4 x 1.5 v batteries so 6 volts total, and has a single pickup on the shoe plate, and an optional sync cord.( forget sync cord, there is no where to stick the other end in the camera :bonk
To get to the question, If I try it on the 400d do I risk doing it (camera) any damage? for the use it will get I can't warrant the expense of a "proper" flash gun, and this one did what I wanted in the old days, so what do yo'all reckon? Thanks
