 Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.

I 'snapped' my wife and step-daughter on holiday. SWMBO wants the thing printed and hung on a wall. Now I don't object to the picture BUT I'd like to clone a couple of things out. It shouldn't be this difficult they're against a grey background but evertime I try it ends up looking like I've done it with ms paint !! So, is there anyway to copy the right handside of the background and flip it over to the left? (I've tried google but my 'google foo' is weak and my search string l o n g. All I want to do is lose the sofa and the light !

Am I over complicating things?

Thanks in advance

Hi Rob,

Here's a 5 minute effort.....

Basically a bit of cloning at a low opacity on the light, and selective cloning on the sofa.

If you want me to remove the image, just say the word and it'll be gone:thumbs:

Cheers

That's a 5 minute job !!?
Can I ask, where did you clone from to remove the light? The opposite side?
You can leave your effort (your word not mine :) ) up, it give me something to aim for. Thanks very much.

Rob, you'd lose most of your unwanted bg problems simply by cropping to a square format, losing that wasted space at either side, and filling the frame nicely with your subjects. You'll easily find a square frame to fit.

Where are mum's eyes - she's looking a bit like an extra from 'Dawn Of The Dead? ;) Quick edit job tweaking levels and losing the bra straps.

Check your working colour space - it looks like you're working in Adobe RGB. Both your camera and processing package need to be set to sRGB.
