Not sure i you can get it in the UK but I would probably buy one...

It would have to be a prime lens :P
Or zooming could get a little tricky :)

If you watch the video, you can stick your hand in one of the sides but it might be a bit awkward.

I can see this being handy if you going somewhere where you might get robbed, it also means you always have your camera ready without it being on show.

Yeah really clever....if you dropped it

Yeah really clever....bet you'd cause a lot of suspicion

In my opinion

Dropping it, would be the same as dropping your camera!?

Its just a bag? It does look a bit like a man bag if thats what you mean...

the police already think we're terrorists!

using anything to disguise what you're doing would automatically single you out as doing something you shouldn't be doing :shake:

its sort of a good idea but its come along at the wrong time

You should always use your camera in plain view IMO - if yr not doing anything wrong, what have you got to hide ??

yes the police & security services are trained to act on suspicious behavior ;)

although as a way of hiding your kit from muggers etc it might work
but then the "man bag" look might bring you unwanted attention from another group of people entirely

:agree:

I think trying to hide what you are doing will make it tens times worse if someone doen't like having their picture taken.

Its always better to be open about what you are doing. I have taken loads of street pictures with only one complaint.

I guess its a bag for the point and shoot dslr's owner

ie. on - click - off. As many of the camera control are not accessible

Its a nice colour. I dont wish to come across to negative

Hi

It's not really a new idea. Once most camera's came with an ever ready case. It was obvious they were camera's.

I accept the point that being amid people with a camera that appears to be disguised is not very reassuring.

Your camera.

If you're not doing anythign wrong then there really isn't any difference if you have your camera covered in camo, out in the open, or in a pseudo-bag.

I'm not convinced this is intended to hide the photographers intent or particularly disguise the fact that you are using a camera.

I think it is designed more to camouflage the fact that you are wandering about with grands worth of kit round your neck and still protect it while being quickly 'ready for use'.

And for that I think it might work well.
