As previously mentioned I have just acquired a SB-Speedlite.

I have read the manual from cover to cover and there are still a couple of questions regarding the 'Wireless Multiple Flash-unit Photography set-up'

What is the basic difference between 'Advanced Wireless Lighting' (CLS I presume) and SU-4.
And when should each mode be used.

Setting up the SB-700 for remote firing by the camara's flash and using
a 50mm + extension tube/s.
The flash askes for the 'Remote flash unit zoom head position' what is this set at when using a 50mm + auto extension tube/s.

The manual as with all manuals creates questions as you are all aware.

If there is a site that explains it better could you please let me know.

Thanking you in advance.

su-4 : the flash is in manual mode, and fires when it 'sees' another flash go off.

CLS = the flash and camera communicate through a series of pre-flashes to determine exposure etc, and allow for wireless TTL, much the same as if the flash was sitting on top of your camera.

www.strobist.com is that site ;)
