City & Guilds Level 1 Photography course

Hi all, new to this forum and to Talk Photography so be kind!!!
Just wanted to ask if anyone on here has done a level in Photography City & Guilds? I know from some that this course is basic but just wanted an idea of just how basic. I have just upgraded to a Canon 50d from my 400d and am still struggling with aperture etc etc so I am guessing the level 1 is appropriate for me but if anyone has do e the level 1 I would appreciate some advice.

I've done levels 2 and 3 as an evening class.

Level 2 covered the basics, and there were several beginners on the course with no knowledge at all.

I found the course excellent and am going back to college in September to do another lvl 3 module.
